In-Home Postpartum Care

Birth and the healing that follows are instinctual and highly intelligent physiological processes, which means you have nothing to learn and everything to remember.

It’s possible to thrive during the transition of maiden to mother when you are receiving ample amounts of nourishment and loving, in-person support. Not only is this possible, it is your birthright. When you are nurtured, you are prepared to enjoy your life. You feel safe and you are nourished, and thus are primed for reciprocity. Being nurtured enables you to give more freely and fully - to your baby, of course, but also to yourself, and eventually to your community at large.

This is the way the world was intended to turn. This is where your power lies.

As a postpartum caregiver, my focus is to mother you as you transition into life with your newborn. I embody what it means to be the loving, nurturing, and trusting  friend, sister, and auntie that you can lean on. The story of early motherhood is often one of depletion, and so I aim to be the water that fills in the cracks of your at-times parched soil, facilitating a smoother flow and better nourishment for all who live and grow in your garden. As water, I am able to nourish your roots, helping them to extend ever downward into the earth, encouraging your groundedness and ensuring your stability for years to come.

Follow Along at The Mother Well

Bookshop Final (2).png

A gathering place for those seeking a remembrance of the pregnancy, birth, & postpartum wisdom that has always belonged to them.

We are Chandley and Kaitlin – mothers, keepers of conscious birth and postpartum ways, and the creators of The Mother Well, an ethereal gathering place for women to receive well-curated birth and mothercare knowledge that is most commonly found behind a paywall. Having traversed the distorted realms of modern birth and postpartum work for many years, we have chosen to now serve mothers as devoted birthkeepers – not gatekeepers. Thus, here at The Mother Well, what has most commonly been reserved for clients, students, private online spaces, and professionals will be given to all people as a gift.
